Lucien Elsen opened Mesa Verde in 1990, he was the pioneer in vegetarian macrobiotic cuisine. Mesa Verde is a true mycrocosm. The decor is the result from a collaboration with various local artists. Its menu reflects the various stages of Lucien’s travel-learning process (Kyoto, Zurich, Bruxelles, Menton, Antverpen, Vancouver, New York and San Francisco).

Most members of the Mesa team have been with us with heart and soul for more than 30 years. Mesa Verde has a beautiful organic terrace that is under the shade of a large chestnut tree, beautiful during the summer. From June to September, a rich and diverse cultural program takes place at Mesa Verde (live bands, DJs, street theatre etc).
